- Hello-I am writing my first post as a new member to IOA. I would like to thank all those who make this site possible. A wealth of knowledge here. My name is Mark, I live in Punta Gorda, Fl. and sail on Charlotte Harbor. I own an Iroquois mkII and am putting her back to stock. I am very impressed with the design of the boat and feel I have yet to discover her full potential. There are two other Iroquois mkII in my local area but one is on the hard and the other is not being used. I did not know there was a Chieftain design. From the exterior photos they look like the mkII. I would like to get a first hand look at a boat with daggers as I’m in the process of repairing one of my leeboards. Andrew-any chance of seeing your boat in person? I hope to upload a couple of pics with this post.
